Meet Brie Scolaro, LCSW
Brie Scolaro, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and coach with 10 years’ experience that enables their clients to clarify their goals and take action while facilitating healing. Brie adopts a supportive yet goal-oriented approach that is more action focused than your typical therapist. They view the mind and body as interconnected and understand the importance of prioritizing your physical and mental foundation to achieve ultimate wellness.

The Approach
Brie maintains a small portfolio of clients and adopts a collaborative, human and team-like attitude towards building a relationship with you. They recognize that trust has to be earned, and that while therapy alone can be tremendously helpful, it often lacks a focus on committed action.
Background
Brie is the Co-Director of Aspire Psychotherapy which provides psychotherapy to individuals across New York state, and Founder of their own consulting firm. They have 10 years of experience in coaching, therapy, fitness, management and activism, and often incorporate social justice and anti-oppressive lenses into their individual work.
Brie received their Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor in Psychology from the University of Delaware. They are currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Welfare from The Graduate Center, CUNY. Additionally, Brie is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Silberman School of Social Work MSW Program at Hunter College. They believe that advocating for policy and societal change is essential to reducing the suffering we each face on a daily basis.
